Our journey began with a simple idea: to provide pet owners in Texas with a fun and convenient way to create timeless keepsakes with their beloved animals.

Our Pop-Up Photography Experience

    FOUNDER

    Greetings! I founded Petography S.A. (now operating as Petography TX) in 2017. My love for photography initially began with the humble iPhone, but it truly flourished when I crossed paths with Brandi. It was through this partnership that my dream transformed into a thriving endeavor, as I dedicated myself to mastering the art of photography with my first Nikon camera.

    Over the years, our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. We've proudly received recognition on KSAT Live and devoted our time and expertise to volunteering for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Additionally, we've had the privilege of assisting numerous families in creating and treasuring priceless memories of their beloved pets.

    Now, my vision extends to event photography, where we passionately support local businesses looking to provide exceptional experiences for their customers. Whether it's capturing the excitement of a grand opening, commemorating a unique occasion, or establishing a recurring presence, we are dedicated to crafting enduring memories of our beloved furry friends.

    EVENT COORDINATOR

    Keith and I crossed paths many years ago, and ever since, I've been his trusted photographer, providing invaluable support for his PetographyTX events.

    My passion for film and photography dates back to my childhood when my grandmother gifted me my very first modest point-and-shoot camera. This love for visual storytelling blossomed during my school years, as I actively contributed to the school newspaper and yearbook throughout middle and high school. Eventually, I pursued my passion further by earning a degree in Photo Communications from St. Edward's University in 2012.

    In 2012, I embarked on a journey with Austin Fusion Magazine, where I served as a dedicated photographer until the magazine ceased operations in 2016. Nonetheless, I've continued my photography career as a freelance photographer, operating under the banner of Karla Reina Photography.

    For the past nine years, I've devoted the entire month of March to another one of my passions, the SXSW Film-Music-Interactive Festival. During this time, I have had the privilege of serving as the Photography Shift Lead, contributing to the festival's vibrant visual documentation.

    My early fascination with photography can be traced back to my childhood, where my mother frequently captured moments of my brother and me through the lens of her camera. On occasion, I couldn't resist the urge to borrow her camera until she eventually gifted me one of my own. Simultaneously, my passion for dog training was blooming, as I committed to daily walks and training sessions with our loyal yellow lab.

    It was during one of these routine outings that a creative spark ignited within me. I decided to bring my camera along, forever altering the course of my interests. From that day forward, I became utterly engrossed in photographing not only our cherished canine companion but also my feline friends, resulting in a lifelong passion for capturing the beauty of the world through the lens.

    In my freshman year of high school, my sister gifted me a Canon Rebel camera, sparking my initial interest in photography. I occasionally experimented with it during those years. Alongside this, I pursued my passion for photography by participating in yearbook and AP photography courses, which provided me with a solid foundation in the art.

    What truly drives my photography endeavors is my deep affection for capturing cherished moments with people's beloved animals. I firmly believe that these photographs hold the potential to become lasting treasures, preserving memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

  • To protect the privacy of our clients, only the animals will be able to be photographed.

  • No, we photograph any animal or reptiles at our events.

  • We understand not all dogs are trained. During a public event if you feel comfortable with your dog being off leash great. If not, we can remove the leash from the photo with ease.
